I grew up in a Baptist Christian church, but I was in my twenties before someone shared with me that being a Christian was more than a religious practice and the church was more than a wholesome place to be on a Sunday morning. I never recalled as a youth someone at my church sharing with me that I could know Jesus, that He wanted to be my personal Lord and Savior, and that He would come and live in my heart if I only asked Him.
I didn't know I was lost from God's truth until I surrendered my life to HIM. Thank God for the young couple who entered my life and they quietly began to share on a personal level with me, the person of Jesus Christ. Thank God for saving me and then allowing me to know how to pray my family into the Kingdom.
I suppose it isn't surprising, given my love for books, that God chose the printed word to reveal Himself. I began to understand God's word and promises when I received a copy of the Women Devotional Living Bible. Over the following months, as I read the New Testament, I also read (The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom), (Woman to Woman) by Eugenia Price, and (Prison to Praise) by Merlin R. Carothers. Finally, on Valentine's Day 1986 at approximately 6:00 a.m., I gave my heart to Jesus.
If I could rewrite my life, I would script myself a walk of complete obedience to my Lord from start to finish. However, the truth is, I let the cares and concerns of this world creep in during the 'eighties. I allowed the enemy of my soul to strip away my effectiveness for the Kingdom. I faltered and fell on my face plenty. I was a poor witness of the truth. I compromised when I should have stood firm. I made more mistakes than I care to recall, and those mistakes didn't just hurt me. (They never do.)
Oh, but God is good, and He is faithful, even when we're faithless!
He never took His hand off of me. He never stopped wooing me and reminding me that I was His. He has always sent people and circumstances into my life and drew me back to the place where I belonged, into a walk of obedience and faith. And I am here to tell you God turned everything around in my life for my good according to His purpose. His promises are true!
Jesus has had much to teach me, one of his more strong-willed children, over the past 30+ years that I've been a believer, and there is plenty more to be learned
before He takes me home. But what an incredible journey it has been — and is yet to be — since I submitted to His Lordship. It's amazing what He can do with hurting, broken lives that are yielded to Him, and how He can turn them into something beautiful. He did it for me. He'll do it for you.
Being a Christian isn't about religion. It's about a relationship with the One who made us. And I'm so thankful to be His.
I believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary and is truly God and indeed God.
I believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We all receive Christ by repentance and faith and are born again of the Spirit and become children of God.
I believe that the Bible — all the canonical books of the Old and New Testament — is the revealed Word of God as inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
In the beginning, the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God. He was at the beginning with God. He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make. Life itself was in him, and this life gives light to everyone. The sun shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. Although God made the world, the world didn't recognize him when he came. Even in his land and among his people, he wasn't approved by the world.
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn! It is symbolic and not a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan–this rebirth comes from God. So the word became human and lived here on earth among us.
He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father. (John 1:1-5, 10-14)
We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. We can all be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done. (Romans 3:22)
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his
Son, and our sins are forgiven. (Ephesians 1:7)
Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian and teacher to lead us until Christ came. So now, through faith in Christ, we are made right with God. (Galatians 3:24)
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. (2 Timothy 3:16)
For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we are. (Hebrews 4:12)

My life was confusing. I was young and did not understand what I was on the earth for at the time. What made me the happiest about working with Mrs. Lisa was how God used her to guide me in different areas of my life. Since communicating with Mrs. Lisa, I achieved a lot, and I completed so many goals. My level of communication has exceeded, which is good. The reason that I would recommend Mrs. Lisa is her ability to push you through your pain. Mrs. Lisa is one that encourages you as well as holds you accountable.
Before working with Lisa’s Inspirations, life was good but confusing at times. What made me the happiest while working with Lisa’s Inspirations was how she made you feel. Her calm and quiet tone, combined with her caring heart and smile, made you feel safe. I understood and empathized with one of my family members more and saw things from a different perspective, which I shared with them. A lot of the family tension has gotten better because of it. She is not intrusive but quietly supportive. She recognizes your strengths, and when the opportunity arises, she does or says something to help you grow a little more. One of the main reasons I recommend Lisa’s Inspiration is because she is sincere. You know when you are with her, she is listening, and she is going to give you truth and love.
Life was good, but I was not at my best as I was in the process of dealing with grief, divorce, and life changes! Learning to use art therapy as a healing point made me the happiest with Lisa’s Inspirations services. Lisa’s Inspirations services have equipped me to be able to achieve healthy ways to process through grief! The empathy that was given and shown by Lisa’s Inspirations has exceeded my expectations. I recommend Lisa’s Inspirations services because she would allow you to be vulnerable and learn how to heal healthily.
My life/Marriage before my session with Lisa was like running into a brick wall. I did not see any other way to go. My happiest moment with working with Lisa was knowing that I was not in this alone. Since working with Lisa, I have achieved a great sense of fullness and being complete. Since working with Lisa, I know that I can face my life no matter the situation. I would recommend anyone to Lisa because she has a heart of gold. From the moment you meet her, you know that she genuinely cares.
My life was emotionally shipwrecked and spiritually drained when I encountered Lisa at a bereavement class being offered at my church. I had buried an infant son over 30 years ago. I realized I had not grieved his death. I was later faced with multiple deaths in my family, which I handled in the same manner. I did not take the time to process my grief. Lisa helped me grow through the process of healing. My happiest moments with Lisa...she listened to lead me through my stages of pain and sorrow effectively. The fact that Lisa followed up with me months after our encounter was life-changing. I knew that Lisa cared. I have been able to not only heal but empower others to take the necessary steps to recover. Lisa is REAL! Lisa is compassionate about helping others. Lisa is who she says she is. Lisa is a gift of inspiration. Lisa unapologetically loves the Lord, and it displays in her daily walk. I recommend Lisa's Inspirations service because I know her qualifications for myself. Lisa desires for people to be holistically healed from the inside out. I can promise you this. If you are willing to do the work and allow her to guide you, you will be better on the other side of your pain. Order her book. It will bless you. Get inspired! Call on Lisa's Inspirations today.
